Paul Craven

Helping with UK Sales for Edelrid, DB Outdoor Systems Ltd are lucky to have the services of Paul Craven. Paul began climbing seriously nearly 3 decades ago on the crags around his native Yorkshire and since then has climbed extensively all over the world taking in all climbing disciplines from traditional and sport routes to bouldering.

Paul lists Right Wall and Bat out of Hell as some of his favourite traditional routes whilst Zoolook, Obsession and The Groove remain amongst his favourite Sports routes. As far as bouldering is concerned Paul recommends anything on Yorkshire grit (It’s perhaps no surprise that his nickname is Yorkie) although he does begrudgingly admit that there are a few problems in the Peak that may be worth a look!

Asked about his goals for the future Paul states that staying injury free and having a good laugh are perhaps top of his list. That’s a sentiment that we here at DB Outdoor Systems certainly concur with.
